This is my go to store for whatever whenever I need. Today I stopped by after work to get gas and a few things in the store. I gathered things that I needed then got to self check-out line, comes a middle age white woman with a cart full of stuffs, she was seriously saying she was in line before me, I was shocked to see such a human existing on earth. At the same time there were 4 people in front of me but no one said a word though people are embarrassed by it. I told her go ahead and God bless you. People looked at me like "are you f..ing serious". I didn't want to argue with her. And, the next thing was she saw a woman with one item in line waiting behind me and two other person. She spoke to me that she will let that woman in front of her without asking anyone else. The woman said it's OK but then she went anyway. Do I have to say that I was the only Asian on the line to be treated by this sick person.. it sure seem that way! I hope she doesn't run into a wrong person someday.

YES! LOVE the new remodeled look of my favorite Cub foods! It even has a nice coffee shop called "Refresh"! LOVE, love, love it!
I usually forget about this Cub, though it's closer to me then the one on Broadway, but since I live in North Mpls and I'm usually coming from South Mpls or dtwn, this one seems out of my way. Visiting a friend, on my way home, I was driving by thinking if i needed anything from Cub and instantly started salivating over thoughts of the Grilled Chicken from the deli. Like any respectable foodie, I made a quick turn into the parking lot and parked nearest the door. Inside, I was greeted by a sweet older lady who started telling me all about the specials they have on chicken on how to save my money. I was even expressed my concern about the grilled chicken only being a "summer" chicken and wondered if we would be going back to the baked chicken in the fall. She ceased my worries and told me that it was here to stay. I encouraged another patron to try the grilled chicken and shared a story of my introducing it to my girlfriends. She said she would take me up on my suggestion. I found some other things i didn't NEED on this foodie adventure and picked up some carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. #deepsigh Until the next adventure of a foodie.....
